I recently had the pleasure of capturing the love story of a fantastic couple in the beautiful Dickson Azalea Park which is located just outside of Downtown Orlando. I love photographing engagement sessions at Dickson Azalea Park because it has a lot of beautiful greenery and a variety of locations for cute photos .

The engaged duo, Andrea and Ashraf, were absolutely filled love for each other from the moment we began. A couple full of love surrounded by vibrant azalea blooms, towering oak trees, and winding pathways, made for the perfect photo shoot.

Funny story: This session actually struggled to happen due to ALL of the roads surrounding the park being closed for a race that morning. We all still managed to arrive, but it definitely took some maneuvering around Orlando to make this engagement session in Dickson Azalea Park possible.

The couple’s genuine affection for each other was so obvious. They both just wanted to have fun with each other doing things like climbing trees and wandering in nature while talking about how excited they are for their future.

Dickson Azalea Park also offered a variety of charming nooks and crannies that lent themselves perfectly to intimate shots. I enjoy making engagement sessions feel like a date for the couple. Dickson Azalea Park is perfect for that because I can leave the couple alone to have an intimate moment in nature while I photograph them from further away.

I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture such a magical engagement session. Andrea and Ashraf’s love, set against the natural beauty of Dickson Azalea Park, made for such a beautiful moment that I’m honored to have witnessed and documented.

In the end, it’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. The ability to freeze time, to capture the raw, unfiltered beauty of love, is a privilege that I cherish. Dickson Azalea Park provided the perfect backdrop for Andrea and Ashraf to celebrate their love story
